Dear friends,
My name is Etienne ‘ET’ Tordoir and I was born in 1961 in Charleroi, a city with an industrial heritage, 70 km south of Brussels, the Belgium capital.
In the late 1970’s, I started going to gigs in my hometown, and beyond, and taking pictures whilst I was there.
After graduating from Louvain-la-Neuve University, I turned my hobby into a career working all over the world as a freelance music journalist and photographer working for several Belgian, French-speaking magazines.
In the early 1990’s, as the golden era of rock music drew to a close, I began looking for a different path and I made a smooth transition into fashion, photographing and writing about, the creations of the top designers at the fashion shows worldwide.
In 2005 I started my company CatwalkPictures. But my fondness of music never left me and a couple of years ago, I decided to reignite my love of photographing musicians, concentrating mainly, but not solely, on re-shooting those artists I had photographed in the past, everyone from A Certain Ratio to ZTT!
I have launched this website in order to share with you this passion that I have for both photography and music.
